While we appreciate your feedback, we do not have an IT Manager or Senior IT Manager position on our team so we’re not sure who you are referring to in your review.
That said, we’re sorry to hear that you felt micromanaged in your role during your time at Mobials. On occasion, there are some employees who may require more micromanaging than others depending on the performance of the individual. Not saying this is the case in this situation, but should be noted.
A focus for us has been to provide all of our managers with ongoing training and coaching to ensure they know how best to lead their teams. This is one of many reasons why we invest in a performance management system. This system provides our managers with the tools, resources and training they need to foster employee development. With the tool, we also collect 360° feedback on a semi-annual basis. This allows for employees and managers to provide as well as receive feedback from those they interact with on a daily basis, and therefore a great opportunity to share areas for improvement. It’s worth mentioning that we have both new and experienced managers across our company, several of which have grown into these positions having never been a leader before. Our HR team is also readily available to support employees who are having any issues with their managers.
