Pros

Mobal is one of the best startups in Finland, genuinely solving real problems for retail and restaurant businesses. The work feels meaningful because you can clearly see the impact on customers. The team is young, humble, and carries a friendly, college-alumni vibe easy-going yet highly focused. Many top brands in Finland and across the Nordics use Mobal, which speaks to the product’s value. Work–life balance is excellent, and there’s real autonomy to own your work across functions.

Cons

Some fringe benefits are missing like Lunch, Commuter, which can be added and makes life easier and let us focus on work .

Hi there, I’m truly sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at Mobal. I’d really appreciate the chance to learn more about what happened so we can continue improving as a company. I’d love to understand whether this is based on a more recent or past experience. Feel free to reach out to me at alexander@mobal.io if you want to share more and give me the chance to understand what can be done better in the future. Looking forward to hearing from you. Pros

- There's been some turbulent times in the company's history, but it genuinely feels like leadership has learned from past mistakes, and have actively worked on improving (and some changes in leadership also helps). - Incredible place to learn, you get a lot of responsibility and ownership if you're willing to take it. - Very high pace, lots of changes, but the people are really really nice to each other. - Career progression (as long as the company keeps growing). - Work/life balance is on a good level (I have a family) despite being a start-up.

Cons

- It's a start-up – you just really need to make sure you understand what that means before joining (high pace, lots of changes all the time, high performance requirement). It's not a place for people who are looking for a cushy, comfortable role, but for people who actually wants to work hard and make a difference (& get recognized and compensated for it!). - Compensation in the short term is not the best (but lots of upside if the company keeps growing).
