Don't fall for the fancy office! - Anonymous employee Mitec (GA) Employee Review

So many!! The company is run by a religious group which does not celebrate any holidays, birthdays, or anything. Therefore, the holidays given to the employees are slim to none. However, they will give a couple of paid days off but then when it's time for a raise, they tell you that you should be happy to have a job with any pay/holidays at all. I was there 3 years and had good reviews and NEVER got a raise. Most management is out of the office more than in, and the managers that are in the office do virtually nothing other than gossip about the owners and the employees. The technicians who drove company vehicles were often charged for any damages to the vehicles even when they weren't the employees fault. The money would just be taken out of their paychecks. The company attempted to sue several former employees just because they had the audacity to quit working for Mitec. I have never seen another company with such disdain for the people who work so hard to keep them in business. They expect a LOT from their employees including working overtime in the office, working from home, working holidays, and working while on vacation. It is utterly ridiculous. Oh, and after they would fire people for zero reason, then they would deny their unemployment insurance, forcing a hearing. They fought some people over it for months but the termed employees ALWAYS won their hearings because, as I've said previously, their management is inept and simply doesn't understand how most processes work. The company is pathetic. Last but not least, their salaries are VERY LOW compared to other similar industries.
