Leadership protects unprofessional managers. Blackout days for vacation March - October (at the manager's discretion) MANDATORY week of vacation leave in October. If you do not enough leave (40 hours), then leave without pay! None of this is disclosed during the interview or during the onboarding meetings. No formal training, you rely on your colleagues. Constant staff turnover. So it's new people (less than a year) training new people. Work-related questions need to be made by email or appointment to the manager. Co-workers sneak and talk to one another due to the team's work environment. Not gossiping just how was your weekend, the dog, or your children? One employee had a family issue and requested to leave 15 mins early - denied. A temp employee was scolded in front of everyone in a mini-training class for a misunderstanding regarding his start time. Note, the employee was not late for the impromptu training class. Another employee was scolded in front of the team. The employee started crying heavily and the manager ignored the employee! Other employees on different teams within the department feel sorry for you just because you are on the unprofessional manager's team, without solicitation.
