Cons
To be successful at Missionwell, one must be skilled in the art of deflection, subversion, and playing with others' lives like chess pieces in a psychopathic game of thrones. The management of this firm is horrifyingly rude, functionally incompetent, and willing to break the law to save face. They throw their staff under the bus regularly while donning fake smiles and artificially creating value for themselves by virtue of micromanaging others and filling in task planning software no one actually uses. HR is two-faced and cannot be trusted whatsoever. Be extremely careful what you say, to whom, and keep copies of all communications. Never tell them anything about your real life. They value the APPEARANCE of proactive planning, integrity, service, and morality over the actual performance of these core values. They do not value staff competency, client service, or reliability, only the appearance of it. The former high school mean girl in HR specializes in creating artificial processes that give management the false sense of human-centered staff management. You will be reviewing co-workers, getting reviewed, setting goals, following up on goals, and documenting it all 'till you are blue in the face, but no substantive training, meaningful promotions, or actual career development will take place at MissionHELL. If you are unfortunate enough to work for them under the current management, be prepared to spend an inordinate amount of time waiting for their cheap servers to work, bring your own software subscriptions, and document your work down to the minute so you can be judged on it later. No one will adjust your workload for downtime, so you will be punished for not completing work on time despite their server being too slow or down completely for hours. They will never remember why something happened and will perform mental gymnastics to blame you for it -- unless you are one of the brown-nosers. Be prepared to lie to clients and to be lied ABOUT so someone else can shift blame.
