Pros

The culture was or still is, paramount to the company. Nice people; politics are kept to c-level management.

Cons

Tons of nepotism. Family-owned isn't a good way to do business and breeds lazy ways of making clients and workers happy.

Pros

Mission is an intensely creative and inspiring place. There’s a ton of talent here, which motivates everyone to push the work further. A diverse clientele keeps assignments fresh and exciting, and every new project has sharpened my writing. The office is focused, but very social. Everything’s set up for easy collaboration and relationship building. Management’s got a solid vision, and there’s comfort in knowing there’s a strategy for continued growth. One of my favorite things about Mission is that everyone’s got a voice, no matter your role or experience level. We hold each other accountable, leave our egos at the door, and churn out exceptional work. Other pros: Great for working parents, flexible, cool office, interesting clients, frequent events.

Cons

Some clients are more demanding than others, making for the occasional tight deadline or stressful situation.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear that "process" was notable as this industry is so chaotic. Trying to bring order while not smothering creativity is a constant challenge. In terms of pay, we regularly evaluate our compensation against regional data and do our best to be between mid to high in the percentile. This is can be a tricky balance because big budgets don't always correlate to the best clients.
