Pros

The team have really built an amazing culture at MC. I feel really safe working here - I'm supported with any question I have, no matter how minute, without any judgement. They are very open about the challenges of growing a business (especially in a pandemic!) and offer plenty of space for us to voice our opinions and ideas, if we want to (and pay us for that time!).

Cons

There can be a lot of documents and platforms to manage, but once you get over the learning curve it becomes easier. They are very aware of this and do everything they can to support you.

Pros

Supportive team that encourages brainstorming and open communication when challenges arise. Well-organized curriculum and comprehensive documentation to support job tasks

Cons

Not necessarily a con but the first program can feel a bit intimidating as you’re learning the ropes, but once you get familiar with how everything works, it becomes much easier to manage. Hours may vary depending on program enrollment

Pros

Senior leadership does a tremendous job ensuring that the values of the organization are imbued and exercised in every part of the organization and its activities: how they treat employees, how decisions are made, how they communicate (with employees and clients), how they treat clients (organizations/partners) and end-users (individuals who participate in programs). In fact, it's hard to write this using the pronoun "they." It's a "we." It's a true team, where contributions are valued, diversity (of demographics and thought) is sought out, questions are welcomed, and support is offered freely and frequently. The training materials and process are thorough, the work is meaningful and engaging, and the support is consistent and easily accessible.

Cons

Not really a con, but since this role is part-time, remote contract work, in order to succeed in this role, you must excel at working independently, managing your time, and balancing the multiple priorities of your life.
