Pros
Incredibly smart and hard working staff. Blatter + Papageorge are both legitimately interesting and engaging people. Great ideas, unusually strong ability to actually get clients to pay for great ideas to get made, great clients. Actual interest in innovation, envelope pushing. Reasonable life/work balance, with the caveat that you are expected to give the company a fair amount of your personal time at happy hours, parties, local activations, etc. Cool office, front desk is a bar. Most clients are selling vices. Perfectionistic to a fault.
Cons
Mediocre pay for some of the best talent in new york, plus lots of permalancers without health insurance, equals heavy turnover and a generally volatile / emotionally complicated vibe. There's a staffing gap between a few overworked senior management people and a corral of permalancers not fully empowered to make decisions. Accounts leadership passes buck down to production + creative. Laughably primitive accounts payable + receivable processes. Most clients are selling vices. Perfectionistic to a fault.
