Pros

A business where everyone genuinely seems to care about the quality and service provided. If you work hard and demonstrate value you will create opportunities to be rewarded.

Cons

Communication between departments can sometimes be lacking.

Pros

The internal teams are lovely people and genuinely committed to each other which is one of the only reasons we all still work here. Everyone wants to do the best work they can within the guardrails and boundaries put in place as they’re passionate about what they do. Very rigid 8am - 5pm office hours - everybody logs off and goes bang on 5pm so work life balance is possible On site gym that can used between 12-2 everyday

Cons

Simply put, the owner is a red flag… he has never worked for a business he doesn’t own and it shows as he has little care for his people or how important the culture in a business is. Expectations are unrealistic and all targets are very short term. Expects instant success. Micro manages the whole business to the point where he has to be involved in all decisions, even small ones down to the amount and types of milk that’s ordered for the kitchen. Hires experts in their fields and doesn’t listen to them to the point that they leave the business to get away and protect their careers. Others have joined in the last 12 months and left before their probationary periods were complete (one didn't last a month!) Little to no benefits to speak of - go look at Rep UK, same industry but offers a full benefits package that would be considered standard in most places. Flexible working is allowed for some and not others. Office hours are very rigid and expectation is you are in by 8am and go no earlier than 5pm. Even 15mins of leeway has to be explained/approved. 20 days paid holiday a year - unsurprisingly the lowest amount required by law No sick pay - if you are off for a day you get that pro-rata value deducted from your monthly salary! Off for a week with flu? 25% reduction in salary that month! Notice periods - once you have completed your probation you have to give the company extended notice depending on your role but the company can remove you and only contractually give you a single week of notice. Employment contracts are incredibly one-sided in favour of the company and give staff little protection
