Pros

- Opportunities for growth - Always busy

Cons

If you are transgender or non-binary, don't have high expectations for management to have others respect your identity and help you feel safe. You are expected to work every second of your entire shift. I had the store manager take pictures of me while I was "not working" and shared them with other store managers. Store managers are not considerate, everyone is overworked, shift leads are supposed to take the blame if anything goes wrong on their shift and they get written up for it. Not good training. Some district managers do not hide their hate of some employees. No one is professional. Sales associates clean the entire store every night and do smaller projects. For some reason the worst people love to shop here so expect rude customers. Expect to hate every single day that you work here and no one will have your back. Expect shift leads, assistant and store managers to talk bad about you behind your back. Expect to be blamed if your store does not make enough sales every day.

Pros

It's fun to see what inventory we'll get, and it's fun product to sell. Coworkers are great to be around.

Cons

Upper management is horrible. 3 months into the store manager being fired, with no new SM in sight. When higher-ups come in to help, they are hard to communicate with, often giving off a harsh attitude. They will say everything that is wrong with the store with no positives. We were told to fill a particular IP because it was light when we had no inventory to fill it with, which they must have missed during their visit. The store was once sent so much shipment that we had to fill our bathroom with bags of inventory. The electricity went out once because the bill wasn't paid. Very little training is provided. Management would rather work a skeleton crew into the ground than care about employee turnover.
