Pros

Honestly, unless you’re friends bff management this job sucks.

Cons

There is little to no formal training or onboarding at this location. New employees are expected to know processes immediately, and asking questions is often met with frustration rather than support. On my first day, I was left alone on the sales floor for nearly 10 hours with minimal instruction, which created unnecessary stress and set me up to fail. Management at both the store and district level felt cliquey and disengaged, prioritizing relationships with favored employees over coaching and leadership. Scheduling is inconsistent, communication is unclear, and there is a general lack of structure and accountability. Employees are not provided with the tools or support needed to succeed or grow.

Pros

It's fun to see what inventory we'll get, and it's fun product to sell. Coworkers are great to be around.

Cons

Upper management is horrible. 3 months into the store manager being fired, with no new SM in sight. When higher-ups come in to help, they are hard to communicate with, often giving off a harsh attitude. They will say everything that is wrong with the store with no positives. We were told to fill a particular IP because it was light when we had no inventory to fill it with, which they must have missed during their visit. The store was once sent so much shipment that we had to fill our bathroom with bags of inventory. The electricity went out once because the bill wasn't paid. Very little training is provided. Management would rather work a skeleton crew into the ground than care about employee turnover.
