Pros
Beautiful centres, beautiful words (to capture more clients). The reality is that it's hard to keep high standards of excellence when the centre is understaffed. It was a new centre, so everything was running smoothly. Enough staff in every room to set up nice activities, until the company decided to focus on opening more and more centres. They took some of our staff members and cut out the monthly budget, leaving our centre understaffed. The level of stress was hard to handle, and this caused the team to argue for nonsense. The pressure was too much. Combining rooms every day to meet the ratio requirements. Babies and preschoolers in the same room. Impossible to set up activities accordingly. Accidents happen here and there, on top of all the cleaning every time and the demands to follow the programs. People have to stay back every day, having no certainty of when you'll finish your shift. This was exploitation, so I had to leave for my mental health.
Cons
Understaff Cleaning all day (like every childcare) No answers from head office to source staff Disappointing because this is a big company. It should run better.
