Pros

1. Few of the people here are truly nice to you. (on your face) 2. The location. If you're a foodie, you'll love the surroundings. This might have nothing to do with Mindstorm, but read Point 3. 3. There are practically no pros for this company. So kindly do not waste your time filling out the assignment they ask you to submit.

Cons

Kindly sit down for this section. 1. No personal life. If you're stepping into this agency, pls forget that your life exists. They don't care if you are ill, someone from my family may have passed away or it's simply just a Sunday and you want to spend it wisely, they'll make sure you're glued to your phone/laptop 24*7 and posting on their client's pages. A person who will be working 45 hours a week needs some peace of mind atleast for 6-7 hours on an off day. 2. 2/10 people you come across will be really helpful and would actually appreciate your work. Your team leader or what they call a "reporting officer" would be rude to you & would often shun you. 3. You're not allowed to make a mistake. They are God and they can, but we cannot. If you make a mistake, be prepared to hear abusing from your senior officer. And when I say abusing, you can figure out what an average Indian uses when he/she abuses. 4. They control your moves. Yes, you'll be a digital puppet. They'll make you download an app called Telegram on the assigned laptop and your phones and then when you leave the workplace , they'll check your messages occasionally (on your laptop). Also, you cannot put a password to your device. 5. Your seniors will waste a lot of time doing their things (I don't want to get into what they have been doing) but they will be expecting you to complete all their to-do things and that too before you go home. 6. Favouritism happens. Need I say more? There will come a time in your life that your job would kill you, well don't let that happen in your 20s and not at THIS company. I sincerely request you to keep looking for your dreams and achieve them, but this is definitely not the start. They might be good people but the office decorum is clearly not a very suitable humanly environment. Thank you for reading this.

Thank you for reviewing us. It’s unfortunate that you faced these challenges when you worked at Mindstorm. We would want to disclose that we have updated our responses so that you are informed that we have adopted a fresh perspective to guide us based on feedback over the past several years. This response is updated as of March 2022. Below are the changes we have incorporated at Mindstorm that you may or may not be aware of. - 100% Remote Working: We believe the freedom to work from anywhere is an employee right & we work with our clients with that understanding. - - No more working Weekends: We want all our teams to have a refreshed weekend & join us back on Monday with a fresh set of ideas. To enable this, we no longer take up clients who require us a to work on weekends. No projects, not even pitch work is taken over a weekend once you have logged out. Critical situations however are handled on client to client basis on a scale of urgency which are extremely rare. (Once or Twice in a year) - Flexible but Responsible Working Hours: While our majority of our team works between 10 am to 7 pm, we maintain flexible works hours for team members as long as the work assigned is not hampered and meets the deadlines planned at the beginning of the week. - Specialists Roles: We currently only hire experienced & seasoned digital & creative team members with minimum experience over 5 years for mid & senior roles. Executives have a minimum requirement of 3 years. As a remote working organization, we currently do not have the bandwidth to train interns or freshers. We do not encourage freshers to join us as they might lose out on required training required in the early stages of their career - No Micro Management: No hierarchy structures & onboard training means less supervision is required. Every team member is considered as a responsible adult and is deemed to be able to manage themselves. - Streamlined payout: Mindstorm releases salaries/fees on the 15th of the following month for the current month. For eg. Salaries/Fees for May are credited on June 15th. Do note Mindstorm hasn’t defaulted on payment till date and maintains cash reserves for employees for up to 3 upcoming months to safeguard the financial security of our employees. - Zero Tolerance for Absconding employees: Mindstorm will continue to maintain zero tolerance for absconding employees. Absconding employees are those who resign or quit abruptly without serving an agreed notice period. This generally results in blocked salary, relieving letter, experience letter & non-validation of future BGC. Employees are expected to be mindful before considering such courses of action.

It was my 2nd job, when I start working with mindstorm. Good team with excellent knowledgeable people at work. Less pressure and good enviornment

Pros

1. All reimbursements & salaries are paid in time 2. Each employee is evaluated to identify their strengths & weaknesses on timely basis and provided guidance to do better. Had monthly reviews. 3. I joined as Social Media Executive but we parted ways due to skills which I could not improve. I was connected back post a year and was given an opportunity to join design & video team due to the skill they believed I had in me 4. Still connected to the management, even though I have started my own venture in the same space they are open to sharing advise & support when I call to discuss the same 5. Fun activities are fun and learning both & just for the record I had left just during December but still was part of the Christmas Party & Secret Santa. Miss this fun. Every activity is unique & extremely creative. 6. I had the privilege to come to work by 11am 7. Yearly appraisal is done on timely basis

Cons

1. Employees are let go incase there is performance, attitude & disciplinary issues too. 2. Expected to learn new skills alongside daily work 3. Client servicing team has more authority compared to other teams 4. Late coming deductions
