Pros

Locust Point is a great area in Baltimore city, and the office is located right next to a large shopping complex Occasional work from home opportunities After-work activities such as the adventure club or the beer club

Cons

They keep removing negative reviews and spamming the page with fake positive reviews. The turnover rate for this company is insane. Arguably, it is a part of their actual business model to simply use and abuse employees, demanding ridiculous overtime hours and retaliating harshly against those who speak out against it. Even some management-level employees have been thrown under the bus, to be ground to dust by the psychopathic Mindgrub machine, so don't think you will be safe simply because you are not a lowly entry-level dude. Hiring has such a turnover rate that the company has finally gotten rid of their "Team Page" pictures of all their employees as all it did was visually document their complete inability and unwillingness to A) retain good employees and B) hire anything other than the same exact type of guy. The environment and culture is what you would expect from any problematic, tone-deaf agency. Incredibly cliquey, a surprising amount of toxic gossiping for a bunch of nerds. It is everything that is the worst about tech culture today. Cult-like founder-worship, focusing on buying as many awards as possible to try to look good outwardly but doing absolutely nothing to heal the rotten core.

Whoever you are, I wish you had the courage to come forward to voice your concerns with your manager or HCM (Human Capital Management) rather than feeling the need to disrespect those employees that actively engage with their teams every day to make Mindgrub a more dynamic, inspiring and challenging place to work. Are we perfect? No way. There is no such place. Do we work hard and play hard? Absolutely - Adventure Club ski trip and Paint Night right around the corner. We are a Performance Based company. Every day our employees, managers, and leaders are confronted with difficult and challenging business and people issues. We do our best to acknowledge and confront them head on. I lead HCM (Human Capital Management). If you work at Mindgrub, you know me. I don't sit in my office and wait for meetings to appear on my calendar. I like to think that that I am approachable, available and always willing to discuss difficult issues, just like my team and peers. I use relevant and related people data to advise leadership so we can make sound and just business decisions. The engagement and turnover data we use and used by other top companies suggest that your statement about "turnover", "spamming" and "hours" is JUST NOT TRUE. Please come forward, rather than hiding in the ether. I'd love to talk.

Pros

The only reason I haven't gone insane from the stress is my coworkers. Without their support, I honestly don't know where I would have ended up.

Cons

Mindgrub Technologies is a sorry excuse for a company run by incompetent, greedy clowns who have no idea what they're doing. Every decision that the leadership makes is solely driven by profit, and a lot of the time, those decisions come from their mistakes since they refuse to take accountability for any of their actions. Employees are constantly burnt out because the leadership keeps setting unrealistic expectations for them with support. They also take advantage of employees by making false promises, telling employees that they would be getting promotions, but never actually pulling through with any of them. If you're looking for a company to grow your career, this is the last place you should be looking.
