Pros
Flexibility options are great. Work is usually technically interesting. There's a good degree of creative freedom on projects and ideas.
Cons
Messaging from leadership quite erratic as their focuses seem to change week to week and certain 'offerings' come out of the blue. Some projects don't seem to fit in with the company's overall goals and appear as opportunistic distractions. Technical staff aren't always listened to - and can sit frustrated on a lethargic projects for a while until alarm bells start to ring. Roles and responsibilities aren't always clear, sometimes causing a ball to drop. Understanding product market fit is usually delayed, with projects kicking-off based on hunches that eventually lead to being 'paused'. Given the number of successive times this has happened over the history of Mind Foundry, it is frustrating to see little change.
