The coworkers are nice and helpful

You don't get paid much, you have CNA coming off the street making more money than the long time employees, They don't care about employees. They tell you all kinds of lies to get you hire. Management is sorry, they don't care about their residents. Employees are working with equipment that don't work. There is no advancement they lie, cheap, they are just a mess

There is a lot of editorial independence so to speak, but that of course is in name only. When it comes to criticising the holy cows, the line is drawn in stone

poor pay, ratty work conditions, sexual harassment of interns, random hire and fire policy, everything that is wrong with journalism is present in this organisation
