A long time running company in a long time running industry. This company isn't going out of business anytime soon and that would lead you to believe you have good job security here...
Cons
Despite the fact that this company has been around for a while, you DO NOT have job security. This company is a fire at will company and it has exercised that multiple times in the past. They have laid off full divisions, departments, and groups of people in departments as the company gains and loses clients and business. This would lead you to believe that the upper management is smart and intelligent to adapt, but that is not the case. There has been many cases of people being let go and then just weeks later job postings go up for open positions that these people could have transitioned into. A vice president in the company has made multi-million dollar mistakes while good employees at the company can't get a $5,000 raise. Yet that same vice president will get her husband's company hired to do contract work with directly pads her pocket. In my 20 years of employment, I have never worked for a company that was so dysfunctional.
