Pros

Remote work is the only pro

Cons

Was hoping I had finally found my dream remote job- quickly learned the model is unsustainable. Expecting providers to see patients every 15 minutes, unrealistic mandatory charting expectations, and the patients believing they are seeing Mary Claire Haver and then disappointed they are not. Wages less than an RN for my state. Was being asked to do things that I was not comfortable with as a provider- rxing psych meds with no formal psych evaluation, weight management after an inadequate training course, and very liberal guidelines in rxing hormones. Felt my license was at risk if I continued to work there.

Pros

Meaningful work helping women through menopause and weight management. Fully remote position with flexible scheduling. The mission is rewarding, and there are opportunities to develop expertise in women's health.

Cons

Compensation is below market for experienced nurse practitioners. There is no 401(k) match, and the health insurance benefits are disappointing, including limited coverage for the company's own services. Frequent provider turnover results in patients being reassigned multiple times, disrupting continuity of care. Very short appointment slots and increasing productivity demands prioritize quantity over quality, making it difficult to build therapeutic relationships, provide comprehensive care, and earn bonus incentives.
