Pros

My offer was rescinded less than 5 business days before my start date.

Cons

I would strongly caution any NP considering employment with Midi Health. I was formally hired, completed pre onboarding and credentialing requirements, resigned from my previous position over two months ago, turned down another job offer, signed my collaborative agreement with the supervising physician, received company equipment, worked with scheduling to build my patient template, and completed every required pre-employment task. Less than 5 business days before my official start date, my offer was suddenly rescinded due to “low patient volume.” What makes this even more concerning is that the company still appears to have multiple NP openings posted in the same states for which I was being credentialed, including California, Michigan, and Arizona. This decision was made at the last possible moment, after I had already made irreversible career and financial decisions based on their commitment to hire me. Had this been communicated weeks earlier, I could have pursued other opportunities and avoided significant hardship. I also learned I was not the only provider affected. Multiple people in my onboarding cohort experienced the same situation and this is not the first time Midi Health has done this (2023). As healthcare providers, we understand business needs can change. However, rescinding offers days before a start date, after full credentialing and onboarding have been completed, demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism and consideration for clinicians’ livelihoods and careers. Future applicants should carefully consider the risks before resigning from a current position or relying solely on an accepted offer from this company.

Pros

Genuinely very appreciative patients! We, the NPs are really helping women.

Cons

Joke of a salary with bonuses based on how fast and how many patients you can see. Typical Silicon Valley business backed by the very wealthy in it for investor affluence at the expense of their NPs. You can feel the “sales” push for supplements etc. They lie about being the ONLY telehealth women’s midlife care and they disparage the thousands of providers that have been doing this for much longer. Founder recently told all NPs to “book 10 follow up visits if you need to” because they just made all follow ups 15 min. Can you imagine what that will cost a patient? Greedy, fake C-Suite taking advantage of the excellence in care of their NPs. The vast majority of the US could care less about the “Rich and Famous” you cater to in order to get them to “praise” Midi.
