My experience at Middesk was challenging, I've held back from writing this review in fears of backlash, but I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. The workload was overwhelming, often requiring me to work beyond reasonable hours. This took a toll on my well-being, and I found myself in tears daily due to the stress. I wish I was exaggerating, but I cried EVERY day. Management's expectations were unrealistic, and the CEO even asked employees to write positive Glassdoor reviews, which raises ethical concerns. It's important for potential candidates to be aware of the demanding work culture and management practices before considering a role at Middesk. When I tried to bring up the challenges, they wrote it off as "this is the startup culture". In addition to the challenging workload, there was a significant lack of clear directions, goals, and tasks. It was often unclear what was expected, leading to confusion among the team.
