Pros

Health benefits are the best in the state. Tuition Stipend: $10k/yr undergrad, $15k/yr grad. Quick to promote Title.

Cons

Lab and Support positions and their wages are disregarded financially and viewed as non contributors to the bottom line. Base pay increases are too small. rarely keep up with Inflation and bonuses are not common. Culture= You have to leave the company to make real money. Merit based promotions are not proportional to the contributions and innovations of said lab/support role employee. Tribal knowledge issues in some areas. Market based base pay where Idahos wages are decades behind the national averages.

Pros

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Cons

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
