Pros

Compensation is competitive for the industry. Long-term outlook of company remains not bleak with CAGR to grow with the digital and AI economy. Good place to leapfrog into USA.

Cons

1. Culture is not collaborative anymore, more layers of bureaucracy added just to justify creation of numerous managerial positions; dysfunctional teams working in silos and finger pointing each other instead of solving the real problem - sweeping them under the rug. 2. Building on the first point, organizational structure is top heavy with working teams stretched thin be to at the beck and call of the many managers/directors/VPs. 3. Work environment is not conducive for self-expression and constructive opinions to improve are not wholly accepted by management, worst they weaponize them, label dissenters and slowly manage them out. Those who remain due to circumstances just get indoctrinated to give up their voices and become a Yes-man/madam, evident by the apparently magnificent employee engagement survey results, which in fact many are coerced to give positive feedback for fear of retribution. A culture of cronyism is also becoming rampant.

Pros

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Cons

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
