Pros

For those passionate about sports, outward perception of "working in the NFL" can be fun

Cons

-Toxic workplace environment perpetuated by management - A year after I departed, nearly entire staff (sales & customer service reps) has turned over - For perspective, over the course of the last 4 years, only 2 reps have been promoted into entry level management positions (both within Dolphins organization, none with other teams). Opportunity to "grow your career" underneath the current leadership is non-existent - There are 3 layers to their sales org: Part time, entry level sales rep; Full time account executive; Premium sales. Management spins this as promotions to the staff, but the job responsibilities don't change and the pay increase is marginal to put it nicely.

Pros

The business does so much - there are so many opportunities to get involved in cool initiatives and events. I treasure the time I spent and have so many amazing memories from my time there.

Cons

Because the business does so much, it can be high pressure. A lot is asked of employees, and it's not a 9-5 kind of place. But that's also true in sports in general. The business is so revenue driven that support functions can get a little overlooked so that can also be hard.
