Pros

The Office Culture is chilled out like a College- you can drop in whenever you want, Go as you please (As long as you are in the good books of your manager). Employees come in Bathroom slippers and clothes that do not need a wash but sterilisation the next time you meet them. Yet we are an Equal Opportunity company- we welcome you to work even of you are sloshed or stoned. The culture drills down to the communication style too- email language are like a marketplace slugfest, its almost as if the teams have substituted IM with the mailbox. Flexible work timings: You can come to office any time you want as long as you send that 1-2 am status mails to your managers and the whole world. My manager goes missing for weeks and yet does not miss sending a single 2am mailer Open Culture: Swearing on the floor at the top of your voice is considered as "leadership skills" . You can do whatever you want on the floor as for some strange reason the only camera's in the building are pointed to server room doors. Amazing Learning options: You get real life survival skills here as there is absolutely no training- the only trainings that exist are canned presentations or WebEx recordings which will help you get great sleep every night. Google is the Go-to learning tool for everyone on the floor. Invisible Leadership: The team believes in this mantra and remains missing from office most of the days of the week thereby giving plenty of options for the cabins to be utilized as meeting and recruitment areas. The only time you will see them is when someone from the US drops in or when there is an event with free food and booze being dished out. Over the top Salary Packages: a 100pc hike is like a minimum at MetricStream, even at the appraisals if you are in good terms with the managers you are in for a treat. This is one area where MetricStream excels- its makes you just too costly for the competition to poach you. Work life balance- What is that?

Cons

There are very few cons here but a few include: PS NA- As the term says "Professional Services- Not Applicable" , this place is like the Guantanamo Bay- the rules and policies of the company does not apply here. You must be John Rambo to get into this place and come out alive and sane. Its heartening to see some of the brightest minds in the industry crumble here. No Legal team: 2 of my team mates quit the organisation by keeping their Laptops, ID cards on their tables and dissapeared with large smiles on their faces. Now they are working in companies next door and yet people on Notice period are not getting confirmations on their LWD even after serving 60 days of notice! Promotions: You get promoted whenever your senior quits, so the competition is very intense on who gets kicked out and how. Perks: I find the free Parle G biscuits very interesting but we should have some variety with the burnt coffee and tea. Anonymous surveys are
