Pros

Healthy workplace overall. Nice co-workers. Good xmas vacation time

Cons

Some management lick the boots of other management, to not rock the boat. Pretty frustrating when we keep running into the same problems over and over again, and nobody will acknowledge the elephant in the room.

Pros

-Excellent benefits incl. 9.3% Pension, 15 wellness days, 15 vacation days and great coverage on extended benefits. -Most people I work with are great -Cultural training (Métis 101, Lateral Kindness training)

Cons

-Unnecessary bureaucracy and approval red tape for every step of a project = very inefficient -Colonial organization structure with strict hierarchies, which is really disappointing as an Indigenous government -Registered as a non-profit society, acting as a government, run like a profit-based company, making mandates and operational decisions in conflict with one another -Ministry work is siloed due to strict hierarchies -Many ministries are grant funded, so inconsistent and unreliable funding for programming and projects

Pros

decent pay and benefits to start

Cons

An environment for coasters no focus or accountability and if you are driven to perform you wont fit in and leave due to a lack of satisfaction.I was recently looking at their job board and there's posting many months past their closing date and some a year, this is basic stuff.
