      Excellent teaching Hospital, in emergencies needed staff is always available! Variety of areas to work as an RN.

      Cons

      Not the best area of town. Hospital needs to be updated cosmetically.

      Pros

      Coming from a smaller size hospital but big company like Methodist and known high paying hospital in DFW, I needed more shifts. Since MDMC is bigger than my other PRN, I have higher chance of getting shifts because there are more monitoring stations, more staff taking PTOs, higher chance of staff calling out sick and therefore opening the shift, etc.

      Cons

      More workload and higher census! Almost 50 patients on heart monitor per station.
