Pros

Metalenz has a great company culture, fantastic benefits, and is truly a fantastic place to work. Even though it is a small startup it prioritizes a positive work/life balance, which is rare given the push to productize as quickly as possible. Some specifics include: - Benefits: great commuter benefits, competitive employer contributions to retirement & a HSA - Culture: many kind, intelligent, and driven people who are always happy to collaborate to move projects forward - Technical Work: challenging and interesting work to try to commercialize a budding technology for mass market consumer devices - Work/Life Balance: demands ebb & flow naturally with product deliverable deadlines, management is understanding and encouraging when time off is needed

Cons

As with many small & growing companies, some processes are not yet formalized and sometimes critical documentation is limited or non-existent. Communication between teams is critical and if/when things slip through the cracks it can have significant impacts on timelines and project success/failure. Sometimes staff changes can happen quickly and seemingly out of nowhere with little-to-no explanation which can be a bit unnerving.

Pros

Super-friendly and warm people all around you to work with. Highly collaborative and cross-functional work culture. We have equal amounts of work and fun and the whole team often goes out for fun activities. The work is game-changing and challenging and requires a lot of expertise. Everyone here is a subject matter expert in what they do. In terms of Salary, I was compensated more than enough!

Cons

Not Any that I can think of!

Pros

Good technology Strong market opportunity Fast moving

Cons

Green CEO with a lack of leadership experience. Not a good company culture, lunch is provided occasionally, but everyone seems sad to be there. Employee relations leave a lot to be desired
