After several years with the company, I’ve observed minimal innovation or effort to streamline inefficient processes. Leadership often communicates one direction but acts in another, creating confusion and mistrust. HR lacks consistency and follow-through, which undermines employee confidence. Titles are frequently distributed without clear criteria, diluting their value. The unlimited wellness day policy, while well-intentioned, is often misused, leading to delays in project completion. Performance management is weak—low performers are rarely addressed, which affects team morale and productivity. Communication across the organization is poor, contributing to a culture of speculation and gossip. Career growth and compensation require persistent advocacy, and recognition tends to favor a select few rather than being merit-based.

Some of the inner office collaboration between technologists and the building envelop team can be quite productive.

Technologists are undervalued. No office BIM standards. Upper management/design lack drafting knowledge which results in problematic project deadlines and frequent redesign.
