Pros

Flexible, Supportive, Casual in style. Professional in conduct. Willingness of all to share in order to promote career development and technical proficiency or others.

Cons

Only TS/SCI FSP Employees. Need to expand to other customers to provide a "pipeline" where we could place some employees that have yet to receive their full clearances.

Pros

Far too many firms pay lip service to the old and oft tiring adage that ‘people are our greatest asset’. MetaTech fully embodies that sentiment, so other firms take heed, MetaTech is the real deal. People here are indeed valued, nurtured, and rewarded and when an assignment ends, and as in consulting this often happens, considerable time and effort is made to find rewarding alternatives. There is an abundant opportunity to learn, grow and succeed along the way.

Cons

MetaTech is a small but dynamic consulting firm, so if that seemingly loose and relaxed environment does not suit, then one can always go to work for one of the large consulting firms with all their intended hyper bureaucracy. On the surface, that lack of structure might look like a disadvantage to some, but to others it offers a chance for a richly rewarding career. You decide.

MetaTech Consulting Response

Thank you for the kind words and for echoing our need for growth. We currently have five contracts that we can support. That number is, on its face, fairly impressive. However, two contracts have government rates that are too low to support the caliber of staff that MetaTech provides. And, one contract that we do support has been constricting for the past five years providing no opportunity for additional staff. That leaves us with two contracts that have good rates. The challenge is finding highly qualified candidates who satisfy the stringent clearance requirements. Our course of action includes 1) investment in business development - actively pursuing prime contracts, 2) investing in professional recruiting services, and 3) investing in job board services to reach discover more candidates.
