It still feels unfathomable to tell people out loud how bad working for Meta really was. - Anonymous employee Meta (UK) Employee Review

Pros

Eventually we can all find a way out. Use your negative experience's at Meta to put a positive spin at future job interviews on how much crap you had to put up with, and how you were basically expected to run the company by yourself while the bosses were out choosing paint colours.

Cons

Look down the reviews and you will only see positive ones from heads of department or team leads. Most of these are either fake, or left by the directors family members. There were a number of genuine reviews from some of us on another account which G+T have tried to hide by creating a new Glassdoor profile. If you search hard enough you will find them.

Pros

I worked for Meta for a really short time. Left for my own reasons but stunned by the quality. Brilliant company for smart young people or seasoned pros. You'll thrive. Funny, kind, sincere, talented people, a lovely bunch. Lots of laughter and happy vibes. If you're super introverted (like me) that's ok too. Managers super skilled in the work they manage. Best possible tools. Total commitment to providing everything you need right away (or next day delivery). Best onboarding experience I've seen, had, or imagined. Excellent project management. Simple systems that work in real life right away. Generous amount of time to get up to speed. I was quoted a year.

Cons

Great office—smart, spacious and comfortable. Maybe lighting a little harsh if you prefer working in the dark.

Pros

The Meta herd is full of extremely talented and creative individuals, and its great to be apart of the team. There is a real emphasis on employee wellbeing with "Hump day catch ups" every Wednesday and "Fizz-Fridays" on the last Friday of the month. Not to mention the monthly socials and the flexible, 4.5-day working week, which reinforce the work-life balance ethos. Truly a forward thinking company putting it's employees first.

Cons

Currently the dev team is understaffed, but we are always on the look out for new additions to the team.
