Pros

make your own hours. Set salary for first 19 weeks. commission pay can be good if you are of the 14% of new reps that manage to succeed.

Cons

Pay system structured in most confusing way possible and was is not explained to employees are left to find out how it works as they go on. Management has little idea of what it takes to manage people/ only concerned with selling product regardless of client need or interest. Poor benefits for young representatives with no family. Program designed for new reps to rush in, sell to direct familiy and be out of the business short thereafter. 86% failure rate always a win for Mother Met and they do not care to change business model. Smart for them, not so much for prospective employees. Very unprofessional work environment and managers generally only are concerned with bringing in the next wave of representatives rather than help current ones.

Pros

Good support for new people managers were very helpful and always available

Cons

Micromanage every second of your time; have to put in a request to go to the bathroom and wait for someone to grant it Expect you to put exceptions to your time after your shift ends on your own time Half hour lunch by the time I brought my lunch or heated my leftovers and went to the bathroom. I barely had time to wolf it down. Unrealistic call times Systems are horrible and crashing all the time expect you to be in at least 15 minutes before your shift unpaid to set up all the programs on your computer
