Terrible Management, Low Compensation - Anonymous employee Merit Sleep Management Employee Review

I have worked as a contractor for 7+ years, they allow me to create my own schedule, get to work as much or as little as I want. Supervisors have always been very nice and easy to work with, often directly took my input and used it to make changes accordingly. Most years received a Christmas bonus and or gift.

Honestly don't have a bad thing to say.

Great place to begin your career and learn the industry. Coworkers are team players and willing to help each other.

No training at all; mostly ad-hoc shadowing and asking a lot of questions to learn for yourself. A lot of micromanaging because upper management does not trust staff to get the job done. Too many managers and not enough people doing meaningful work. No employee retention plan whatsoever - the annual reviews aren't taken seriously and there is no goal setting which means you almost never get a pay increase or promotion. No room to grow; dead end job. Terrible benefits especially considering it's a healthcare company.
