Pros
Pros include being able to manage your own schedule. I was able to work many hours Mon-Thur and then just a half day on Fridays.
Cons
To get my billable hours, I had to write most all my case notes at home in the evenings. Training was just shadowing other colleagues. Never once received training or professional development on how to assist families with particularly difficult behaviors with their children. I had to use my own money to buy snacks for the clients.
