Pros

Formed good relationships with people and families.

Cons

Close to no training. I was really not prepped. I don’t believe I should have been hired because I was not helping the children much.

Pros

They are very flexible with your schedule so it's a very great place to work as a college student. They are very accepting and willing to work with you.

Cons

They can have better management.

Pros

Students and Tutors were phenomenal. I also really appreciated the vision of the organization which is why I applied and began working there.

Cons

The last 4 positive reviews are laughable. I am sure those were current employees encouraged to write a review of their experience. The CEO is manipulative and conniving. I have seen her ask employees to write Yelp reviews and nominate her for awards (to which she would constantly follow up "have you done it yet!" "don't forget" "we're winning!"), remove clients from tutors schedules right before they arrive and then head out to "lunch" to avoid confrontation (it was like she wanted people to quit so she wouldn't have to fire them), and avoid parents she didn't want to confront her either. One time I was 3 minutes late for a session and she interrupted the session shortly after it had started to tell me I was late and that I better not let it happen again (in front of the student!) talk about unprofessional. The entire place is unorganized, constantly changing with minimal communication, and there is a since of always being rushed. I wanted to love this place honestly I would have considered a career there, but as evidenced by the fact that there are maybe 2-3 people in the entire organization that have been there more than 2-3 years, it is not a caring, encouraging, or empowering environment to work long term. I do disagree with one negative comment previously written she does put a lot of the money back into the company I think that is why they continue expanding; but, why employees can't be paid a living wage on top of investing back into the company I don't understand.
