Run by arrogant, greedy, incompetent managers, with no concept of how to operate a business without trying to cut all corners. Unless you are a productive trader, work-life balance is non-existent. If you are in the US, you will face a never ending uphill battle to get anything productive accomplished. In the back office, you will always be paid less than the market minimum, and face constant obstacles to get the job done. They will lie to you about bonuses just to hire, and will always look for a reason not to give raises, and not honor contracts.
