Pros
Benefits are above average compare with other pharma companies in the same category. Pipeline and lincencing seem to have taen a turn for the better but if new products/compounds fail to be approved Merck will be back at point before the merger.
Cons
Please think hard about looking here. There are other pharma companies out there,the culture assimilation after the merger will take time. This can lead to max exodus once the economy turns. The majority of people recent the merger and would likely leave if times where different.
