Pros
-Camaraderie amongst co-workers-no elitism. All on the same playing field.
-Unique assortment of students and staff
-STEM students provide opportunities to engage students with more hands-on activities regarding creating, while the culinary academy allows teachers to apply content pertaining to them into the mix. Again, a unique experience.
-Pennington is a beautiful area and you get to teach students from various different backgrounds: from the inner-city areas of Trenton to the upscale areas of Princeton.
-Parents of students are supportive and involved.
-Staff of custodians and tech support exceptionally helpful.
Cons
-Great intentions regarding newcomer academy, but there were some holes in it from the get-go.
A few more staff members are needed in order to make this a cohesive, comprehensive program.
-Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather, as none of the buildings on campus are connected.
