Pros

Flexible scheduling, for part timers. Part timers basically have to be given off if requested 14 days in advance. Raises are based on competency tests, but the manager will take them with you for a learning opportunity. Lots of room to grow within a company without a any degree from a 4 year institution. I saw many people with a 4 year degree who was a manager. The company has a manger training program. You can even work your way up to corporate or be a store general manager which pays six figures. The store does profit sharing if you work over 1000 hours in one year. This can be up to 8k in cash bonus. The company sends out a really cute flyer in the mail. The company also sends you a small gift for each holiday and your birthday. The company will pay you holiday and weekend pay at $3 dollars extra per hours. If you get a fork lift license you get an $1. This is $4 dollars an extra per hour. This adds up. If this lands on a government holiday such as labor day or memorial day then you get an extra $3 for holiday pay. That's $7 extra per hour.

Cons

Dental was offered but was expensive as a part timer. Even as a full timer it is expensive. The punch clocks are in each department. You will spend almost your whole break walking to punch in or out, or standing in line. No fridge to store food in the break room.

Pros

A few of the people are nice to work with.

Cons

A store manager who talks down to employees like they're children (and apparently gets promoted for it). A store manager who acts like employees are idiots for calling him to ask questions. Raises are pathetic. Understaffed because the store manager won't allow enough labor hours to do the job, particularly on Sundays when there's a lot of freight.
