Pros
It's a paycheck. Some of the people working here were very friendly. There are no other pros to working here.
Cons
Pay is barely above minimum wage. Management only cares about sales and customers, caring about employees is at the very bottom of importance, or non-existent. Company does virtually nothing to boost morale, and employee facilities (breakrooms, coatrooms, etc) are inadequate at best. Too many rules and regulations, and more get added all the time. Good employees are treated the same as bad employees. Great/record-breaking sales days are never enough, they always expect you to do more. Management comes across as arrogant, rarely ever talk to the hard-working employees and upper management (in Wisconsin) is very, very arrogant. They're clueless about why the turnover rate is so high, they think it's only the minimum wage pay. The corporate culture here is very weird and cult-ish. There are cameras everywhere, not just to catch shoplifters, the main office monitors the hard working employees, and seems to enjoy catching an employee "in the act." The benefits are minimal. There is almost no upward mobility, unless you basically want to live here and work crazy hours. Store never closes, not even for emergency weather.
