I am given the time I need to provide the care I want. Productivity requirements are not as strict as other settings. Strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. Motivated, pleasant coworkers. Reasonable and caring middle management.
Cons
The pay is not competitive. Flexible/alternate schedules are generally not allowed. Limited focus on running research and limited resources for continuing education.
