Pros

Nothing good to say here

Cons

As a former employee, my experience with this company was deeply frustrating and disappointing. The biggest issue was the constant overpromising on commission. Targets were set with the impression that they were achievable, but KPIs were frequently changed midway—almost always becoming harder just when you were close to hitting them. It created a cycle of false hope where you’re motivated at first, only to realize the goalpost keeps moving. In terms of salary, the basic pay is relatively low, despite the boss believing otherwise. There’s also an unspoken expectation to be available during weekends and public holidays, which makes the compensation feel even less justified. Speaking of public holidays, the company only provides the bare minimum required by law. For a role that often demands extra time and flexibility, this lack of consideration is quite discouraging. The commission structure itself is another concern. A significant portion of event commission is retained by the boss, under the justification that employees do not “deserve” the full share. This raises questions about fairness, especially when staff are the ones executing and managing the events on the ground. Recognition is also handled poorly. When an event goes well, boss is quick to step in and take credit in front of clients. But when things don’t go as planned, responsibility is pushed entirely onto staff. Boss will avoid going to Post-mortem, and instead of constructive feedback, blame is assigned. To make matters worse, any client complaint results in zero commission for the team, even when the company has already received full payment. There’s a lot more that could be said, but these are the key points. If you come across a hiring post from this company, it’s worth thinking twice before applying.
