Pros

Benefits were alright, a lot of my non-management coworkers were nice

Cons

The pay is wildly inconsistent between employees, with someone who worked there about the same amount of time as me in a similar position making $14/hr while I made $21/hr, with no clear reason for the difference. On top of that, the culture is often very toxic and almost cult-like, with management doing gimmicky nonsense to try and be funny and relatable or whatever, but behind closed doors you’re treated like an inconvenience at best. Back when their slogan was “We put our members first!” There was a running joke of “and our employees last!” If you’re struggling, you’ll receive almost no support unless your supervisor likes you personally, and if you aren’t willing to drink the M1st koolaid and you actually express any concerns or suggestions for change, you’ll never move within the company. If they don’t like you, they’ll push you until you break, then reprimand you for not being dedicated enough. They care more about their numbers than your health (mental or physical), and their “rewards” for being a good employee are tone-deaf at best. No one wanted a Hershey’s kiss and a gift card on “employee appreciation day”, they want sick leave and decent maternity benefits. They think that a “good culture” means “gaslighting employees into thinking they can’t do better.” I was literally called a traitor when I left, but leaving was the best decision I’ve ever made for my own health.

Pros

Amazing community and family feel. Lots of promotion form within. Growth opportunities. Tuition help.

Cons

They focus hard to make sure people are never laid off, so HR is careful about how many people they hire, which is great, but also not great when your team needs more people but you can't get anymore people. Some people get away with doing the bare minimum yet still get promotions and praise.

Pros

Flexible Schedule on the business team. 401(k) is amazing. Healthcare is great.

Cons

Poor leadership across the board starting with VPs. C-Suite claims to be transparent, but then people (VPs) who are friends with the CEO get hired out of the blue. Poor PTO plan. No cost of living adjustments on already poor salaries. Does not value tenured employees. Prefers to hire new, cheap labor instead of treating invaluable tenured employees with dignity and a fair pay.
