Pros

having different options for schedules because of schooling was nice. Benefits were good including free products monthly. People were friendly to work with.

Cons

Almost all coworkers were of the same religion because of the owner and his religious beliefs and the location/area and this could cause problems with those who have different beliefs or religions. At times it felt a little too "cult-like" or "believe all our products are the best or else" it got a little uncomfortable in that regards. I also felt like a lot of upper-management had this worshiping type mentality towards the founder and owner and it came off as bad vibes and really just like management had to act that way to stay in their position of power. I think this was due to religious affiliation as well though.

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
