Pros

The benefits package of Mel Luca is extremely competitive. When you consider the low cost of living in Idaho. The company provides retirement programs daycare great health insurance, and a very nice product check every month. Celebration of success and performance helps keep a great eye on the goal of each department and encourages collaboration and support of team members. The company provides constant opportunities for feedback and gives great feedback to employees regularly. As a $2 billion plus company Melaleuca has vast opportunities for employee growth and advancement.

Cons

The winters are chilly, and the roads can get icy. Performance requires a lot of hard work. There's a lot of competition to advance. If you want a promotion, it takes extra effort to be in the running.

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
