Pros

People are kind, Work Hours and Expectations are Clear, Pay is better than most things in the area, the employee's interests are considered in several business decisions. Also, the brand is international so there is a lot of communication between people from so many backgrounds, which is interesting and neat.

Cons

Pay is on the low end of national average for the work. The company has very conservative values but supports a healthy lifestyle and a healthy environment. People leave and their work is distributed amongst the team for an indeterminate amount of time ("just until we fill the position" - six months ago), Progressing straight up the ladder of promotion is difficult and takes longer than it should.

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
