Pros

Consistency, predictability in management, work environment is clean and pleasant, free products, company culture promotes accountability and honesty

Cons

Low pay (especially considering how intense the training you go through in B.D is and how many hats you wear), they say they prioritize promoting from within, but if you're trying to break into a different field/department and learn new skills they aren't going to take a chance on you unless you have a degree related to that field. (but if you have a degree chances are you can make more elsewhere so it's a catch-22) lots of outside hires. Supervisors are incentivized to nitpick with performance reviews because it doesn't look good to management if your team is actually meeting standards. 'Toxic improvism' is how I would describe it. There's nothing wrong with reaching a little higher, but at Melaleuca, goal-posts are shifted regularly especially when monetary compensation increases or incentives are involved. 'You just missed it by thaaaaattt much.' type of thing.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
