Pros

If you’re good at what you do and have a solid work ethic, Melaleuca is a very rewarding place to build your career. One good example is the longevity bonus you receive every 5 years as an employee. Five years, $5,000, ten years, $10,000, and so on. That’s great incentive to stay and get promoted within the company. I find the work environment to be great and the company culture positive and often quite fun. I am constantly recommending people I know to come here and apply. Melaleuca has a very positive reputation here in Idaho Falls and all around the area as one of the very best companies to work for.

Cons

While Melaleuca promotes a family-oriented work environment, the work is often hard and the pace is sometimes hectic. There's an "all-hands-on-deck" expectation when rush projects come in. Sometimes the hours are long and your time with your family might feel short for a few days, but there's always the sense that you are involved in truly doing good for many people. And there usually are very good returns on your willingness to work hard when needed.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
