Pros

I started out my career with Melaleuca in an entry level position in the Call Center. I have felt my efforts and contributions have been recognized with further opportunities within the Company. I have worked in several different departments over the years and have felt challenged and supported by my Managers and peers. My current position has been very rewarding in being able to take our mission of enhancing lives globally. It is fun and exciting to be a part of a company that I have been able to see grow and expand and feel like I have contributed to that success. I have and will continue to recommend Melaleuca as preferred employer in this area because of the opportunities they are able to provide. The benefits I have appreciated are the monthly product checks, the convenience of having a restaurant on campus, and affordable health insurance.

Cons

There are times when it is necessary to work extra hours to complete projects and this can be challenging. It is during these times I am reminded of the passion and drive Melaleuca employees have to come together as a team to ensure we meet our objectives.

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
