Pros

Melaleuca is a great place to work and takes care of its employees. The people that I work with on a daily basis are excellent. The company is definitely family friendly. Based on my own experience, I was given a variety of responsibilities shortly after starting with the company. This has helped me develop and grow personally, and has been a great learning experience for me in my professional career. One of the best parts of my job is identifying areas of opportunity for the company and driving the analysis, decision making, and implementation of my ideas to help Melaleuca operate more efficiently.

Cons

Melaleuca expects a lot out of its employees. There are definitely times when the typical 40 hour work week is not achievable. For job seekers that are looking for a clock-in, clock-out, 40 hour per week job, realistically, Melaleuca is not the best fit for you.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
