Pros

I've been at Melaleuca over 16 years. Melaleuca treats its employees with care and respect. Benefits are great: insurance, profit sharing, product certificate, employee picnic, Christmas celebration, and more. There isn't a company in Idaho Falls that can compare. I thoroughly enjoy the people I work with. Open door with all levels of employees. The culture is one I don't feel you can find anywhere else. Friendly & fun... and it is hard work. Hard work is expected and rewarded. Melaleuca takes care of its employees and results produced. I'm glad I made the decision to start my career at Melaleuca immediately after college. Career opportunities are endless.

Cons

Hard work takes dedication and time, so finding a healthy balance between work and personal life. Melaleuca is all about family first. It simply me finding that right balance. So, not necessarily a con about Melaleuca. Just be prepared to work hard and dedicate the time & effort needed to see success.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
